{"id":323,"date":"2018-03-30T09:58:38","date_gmt":"2018-03-30T13:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.duanemorris.com\/cannabis\/?p=323"},"modified":"2018-03-30T09:58:38","modified_gmt":"2018-03-30T13:58:38","slug":"access-to-medicinal-marijuana-in-new-jersey-improves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.duanemorris.com\/cannabis\/2018\/03\/30\/access-to-medicinal-marijuana-in-new-jersey-improves\/","title":{"rendered":"Access to Medicinal Marijuana in New Jersey Improves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to Executive Order No. 6, issued by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, the New Jersey Department of Health (the \u201cDepartment\u201d) reviewed certain elements of New Jersey\u2019s Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act and the implementation of the Medical Marijuana Program (\u201cMMP\u201d) (<a href=\"http:\/\/nj.gov\/health\/medicalmarijuana\/documents\/EO6Report_Final.pdf\">Executive Order 6 Report<\/a>). \u2026<\/p>\n<p>The Department\u2019s\u00a0analysis resulted in the recommendation and approval of an immediate expansion to the MMP. The first stage of the expansion includes the addition of five conditions to the existing list of diagnoses for which medicinal marijuana can be prescribed.
