The fines were imposed between March and November 2021.<\/p>\n<p>HMRC&#8217;s Notice to Exporters can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/notice-to-exporters-202201-uk-exporters-fined-for-unlicensed-strategic-exports\/nte-202201-uk-exporters-fined-for-unlicensed-strategic-exports\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In line with HMRC&#8217;s standard practice the compound penalties are anonymised and of low value, with little information made available. The information provided is supplied below.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 10 settlements were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>in March 2021, \u00a331,355.28 was paid for offences in relation to the export of dual-use goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in March 2021, \u00a38,000.00 was paid for offences in relation to the export of military rated goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in May 2021, \u00a316,062.50 was paid for offences in relation to the export of military rated goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in July 2021, \u00a354,000.00 was paid for offences in relation to the export of military rated goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in July 2021, \u00a325,000.00 was paid for offences in relation to the export of military rated goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in July 2021, \u00a313,274.56 was paid for offences in relation to the export of military rated goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in August 2021, \u00a31,000.00 was paid for a breach of licence conditions in relation to the export of military rated goods.<\/li>\n<li>in September 2021, \u00a37,000.00 was paid for a breach of licence conditions in relation to the export of military rated goods.<\/li>\n<li>in November 2021, \u00a39,000.00 was paid for offences in relation to the export of dual-use goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<li>in November 2021, \u00a334,499.88 was paid for offences in relation to the export of dual-use goods without the appropriate licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK&#8217;s HM Revenue and Customs has today announced the imposition of 10 compound penalties in relation to failures to comply with the UK&#8217;s export control regulations for dual-use and military goods.
