sanctions enforcement statistics and \u20ac6.2m in fines for 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lithuania&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/fntt.lrv.lt\/lt\/naujienos\/fntt-uz-tarptautiniu-sankciju-pazeidimus-2025-m-skirta-daugiau-nei-62-mln-euru-baudu-minimos-apejimo-schemos-PqY\/\">Financial Crimes Investigation Service<\/a> has issued a summary of its work for 2025, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/fntt.lrv.lt\/public\/canonical\/1780548413\/1310\/Ataskaita_2025_62psl_final.pdf\">a more detailed report (see pages 45-46)<\/a>\u00a0that includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>232 suspicious activity reports from financial institutions related to suspected breaches or circumvention of sanctions;<\/li>\n<li>77 of these were reported to other competent bodies in Lithuania or in other EU member states;<\/li>\n<li>45 inspections from the International Sanctions Implementation Commission;<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac6,236,375.46m in fines for 2025 across 12 cases;<\/li>\n<li>In addition:\n<ul>\n<li>in 2025, 27 cases were dealt with administratively with fines in these minor cases totalling more than \u20ac32,150<\/li>\n<li>in 2024, 19 cases were dealt with administratively with fines totalling \u20ac28,000<\/li>\n<li>in 2023, 12 cases were dealt with administratively (the value of the fines is not given)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report also notes that 1 of the cases related to public procurement, 1 to the failure to provide information, 5 to circumvention, and 20 to the use of a bank designated by the EU.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lithuania&#8217;s Financial Crimes Investigation Service has issued a summary of its work for 2025, as well as a more detailed report (see pages 45-46)\u00a0that includes the following: 232 suspicious activity reports from financial institutions related to suspected breaches or circumvention of sanctions;
