These are an update on those <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.duanemorris.com\/europeansanctionsenforcement\/2023\/05\/08\/switzerland-revised-enforcement-statistics-130-cases\/\">previously published<\/a> in May last year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>230 reports to SECO of potential sanctions breaches:<\/li>\n<li>47 proceedings commenced, of which:\n<ul>\n<li>18 cases remain active;<\/li>\n<li>9 fines imposed; and<\/li>\n<li>20 cases discontinued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SECO also stated that new cases are being added all the time, and that most relate to trade sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>No information was published as to the level of the fines imposed (other than &#8220;varying severity&#8221;), or the identities of those fined or being investigated or prosecuted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sanctions enforcement statistics for Switzerland&#8217;s SECO have been reported today.
