The precise type of machinery is not specified in the reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation by the State Security Service was first <a href=\"https:\/\/eng.lsm.lv\/article\/economy\/business\/09.10.2023-ltvs-de-facto-belarusian-business-in-latvia-under-security-scrutiny.a526968\/\">made public in October 2023<\/a>, at which time a freeze was also imposed on the shares of Nordwoc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prosecution is reported to be seeking a two-year custodial sentence, a fine of \u20ac225,000 and confiscation of \u20ac30,000 as well as confiscation of the shares of Nordwoc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is being reported that a Belarusian businessman resident in Latvia is being prosecuted for alleged exports to Belarus in breach of the EU&#8217;s sanctions.
