The FTC reprimanded a fitness franchisor for falsely stating that the FTC endorses or has ranked the fitness franchise. A false\u00a0claim may give\u00a0cause to: (1)\u00a0the filing of a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission\u2014the filing is free,\u00a0(2) a lawsuit and (3) decreased reputation.
