In many respects, the results are predictable. The greatest percentage of the insurance-related class actions\u00a0involve coverage or claims handling decisions, although\u00a0there were a few interesting pockets of recurring class\u00a0claims, such as inflated drug prices and cost of insurance\u00a0(\u2018\u2018COI\u2019\u2019) increases for life insurance policies. The predominant forum choices were on the American coasts,\u00a0California and Florida being the preferred locations.\u00a0One notable result was the frequency of voluntary\u00a0dismissals by the plaintif fand individual settlements\u00a0reached with the named plaintif fonly.
