The announcement comes more than a year after the FTC\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftc.gov\/news-events\/news\/press-releases\/2021\/07\/ftc-rescinds-2015-policy-limited-its-enforcement-ability-under-ftc-act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rescinded<\/a>\u00a0its previous policy against pursuing \u201cstandalone\u201d Section 5 Unfair Methods of Competition claims and interpreting Section 5 as coextensive with the Clayton and Sherman Acts.
