We previously summarized aspects of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ifap.ed.gov\/fregisters\/attachments\/FR121916.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2016 State Authorization Rule\u00a0<\/a>in our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.duanemorris.com\/alerts\/critical_compliance_areas_online_schools_2016_state_authorization_rule_0719.html\">July 23, 2019<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.duanemorris.com\/alerts\/california_based_institutions_exempt_other_states_impacted_dept_education_rule_0719.html\">July 26, 2019,<\/a>\u00a0<i>Alerts<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are four key takeaways from the Department\u2019s letter.<\/p>\n<h4>1.
