The Spanish authorities, on May 16, refused permission for a vessel carrying an arms shipment from India to Israel to call at the port of Cartagena.
The vessel, the Marianne Danica, is operated by the company H. Folmer & Co, and was carrying 27 tons of explosives from Chennai (formerly Madras).
